Oronis... may or may not have a bit of a "Boring! Not paying attention to that!"-problem... Also even if he paid decent amount of attention to the loop hole, that doesn't mean he knows how the legs happened. There's still a story here!

Neither, Oronis is more like a god. "Genie" and "Djinn" are terms that were given by mortals, and since the first bound genie happened when a mortal wished to be as strong as the original genie who granted the wish, they saw the originals as same as them. Thus it formed the terms "Original genie" and "Bound genie".
You may remember that Marida had legs too. He is one of the originals as well.
