The joys of being a modern human </sarcasm>

At least Griha doesn't have to experience the "joy" of going to the DMV...yet.

Is it silent or is there muzak playing? If the latter, what music would a supernatural support desk play?

I am impressed with the agent’s ability to spell strange names. This is how it normally goes for me:

Agent: What is your name?

Me: Francisco....

Agent: Was that Francesca?

Me: No, Francisco.

Sometimes, I say, “Think of the city ‘San Francisco’ and drop the ‘San’.”

Sometimes, I say, “Foxtrot Romeo Alpha, November Charlie India, Sierra Charlie Oscar .”

Regular music.

And I took the liberty to make that bit short because I don't think anyone wants Griha to spell her full genie name in a strip comic...

Hey, for all we know Grihalamujonana is just as common a supernatural name as Susan or Mary is to us. Besides I find it interesting that they are using English at all and not some common supernatural language like Elvish or Klingon or something.

Thank you!

And actually, when entering the phone tree, the languages we got to hear, so far, were English, Spanish, and lord knows what.

After I thought about it, it makes sense that they would employ someone who’s good at spelling (maybe even slightly psychic) as there are some supernatural entities that wouldn’t take too kindly to having their names misspelled or mispronounced.

{edit}
It could also be that, given supernatural creatures are rare enough to be considered myth, he typed “gri” and there were only 2 or 3 similar names for the country or the world.

Any of those work for me. In reality I refuse to use 3 extra panels to show the pain of name spelling =P

I used to work at a call center. There is at least 9 different spellings for Catherine. One gave me attitude once and said "It's spelled like Catherine. God..." and out of spite I went "C or K? Aha. H in the middle? Okay. And is the end rin, rine, ryn, or ryne?" turned out she was Cathryan. lol
