And we are live with chapter 9! I had a bit of a problem happen when I went on my burn out avoidance break... arm started hurting and after that the extreme heat made my feet swell up. I'm still playing catch up with the pages in Patreon, but I'm making progress!

Remember to support the comic in Patreon! $5 a month and you get to follow Marid 4 updates ahead from the website!

Please remember to take care of yourself. Heat can be dangerous. I had a stroke from it once and now I can't handle it nearly a well as I used to be able to. Be safe and glad you're back with us.

Thank you! I've handled it pretty well, no worries. I increased my potassium intake, kept my feet in cold water, and also occasionally put my feet up so they were above my heart. :) Haven't had swollen feet for a few days now~

I'm taking care of myself. :) Don't you worry. And I know people can wait, but I hate postponing a deadline...

And my gods, don't play in 120 degree heat! That's only acceptable if you're playing a tiefling!

Yeah, this heat is pretty brutal. It was a week solid of 108 last week for me. Hopefully it'll calm its shit down here for a bit.

In here it was only high 90's. But as a Finn, my country only went a little above 80'F in the summer, so I'm not used to more than that =P Still, I hope this calms down!

Yeah, I could only hope for 80's at this point. I live in the middle of the desert and high 90's are pretty normal here. Unfortunately, this is supposed to be our monsoon season and it's painfully dry this year.

I long for 90 degree heat. I'm in the southern hemisphere and it's the middle of winter here. One of my fondest memories from my youth is a day when the thermometer hit 112...

I've never been to the southern hemisphere, so I can only imagine. :)

Want to trade? I hate the heat with a passion. I belong in snow and my comfort zone is around 40 degrees.

No thank you. With a skin as pale as mine, 5 minutes in the heat of the sun means hell for me. XD

Couldn't agree more...and remember to stay hydrated in Hot weather...take your time and stay safe, as others have said "we'll wait" and I feel extremely confident that your patrons will be quite willing to wait as I am sure they want you hale and harty

No worries. Me and the hubby use our old soda bottles for water bottles and we have a fridge stacked with nice, cold, purified water :D

And I know people will wait... but something always happens and I hate having to pause the comic or postpone an update. I would want to just once finish a chapter without something happening, you know? :(

Have you spoken to a medical professional about your symptoms?

Please look after yourself.

I haven't. They would just tell me what I already know. I know what symptoms to look out for tho in case it's diabetes or blood clot.

Problem is that I'm overweight. And when you sit as much as I do, in a high humidity, your body simply doesn't have enough circulation to move the water around. I've been fine now that the heat wave eased up on us.
