I don't blame RJ for being done with Sandra... She reminds me of too many people I've had to deal with and that thought already gives me a headache hahaha!

Has anybody asked Griha what she wants? She seems to have something similar or better to human level intelligence, as well as centuries of experience. Her answers for the meaning of life and what's worth doing or pursuing might be surprisingly enlightening even if there's nothing there you would be willing to take part in.

Griha already told what she wanted. To be free. RJ may have let it slip his memory for now, but I haven't~

And of course she has human level intelligence XD She used to be one! But I understand what you mean. Griha's entire character is based on her age. She has seen a lot so she knows a thing or two.

If getting free is the only thing she'll admit to that would worry me. I do not think it's a bad thing to want especially, but if that's the only thing a person wants in life that's generally pretty hard on both them and other people.

You forgot that RJ was scared how she would use that freedom. Intelligence, experience and empathy does not necessarily mean the person is good.

How does he know that she’s not like the djinn in Wishmaster?

Actually RJ said he doesn't do favors to people he doesn't know. Which is what he is doing. Getting to know Griha as a person.

So how does one become a Genie in the first place? I find it kind of weak sauce that no one has ever wished Griha the ability to change her clothes as she sees fit... then again, she's still bound to the lamp because of assholes. >.>

The whole concept of Griha not having advantages like that, is people deep down being selfish in the end. They used their 3 wishes for themselves.

And there's ways to become a genie. I'm not spoiling!
